Inspection Copy Requests

Books for which we offer inspection copies will include an inspection copy button leading to a form to complete. If you wish to request a book that we have not designated as a textbook, please email info@equinoxpub.com with details.

Inspection copies are usually supplied initially in digital format and a print copy may be requested as necessary.

Reading Groups

If you adopt a book which is available as an interactive edition, you may want to take advantage of the interactive features of this website and create a private reading group for the class. Reading Groups may be used to annotate, highlight, and comment on, as a cohort, the textbook in use. Private groups can be employed in the classroom setting as a means to facilitate discussion among specific students in a safe environment, without concern of unaffiliated members interrupting the flow and dynamic of that space. Only invited users with Reader accounts may join private Reading Groups. Students who have logged in and have been invited to join a group will, upon login, see a tab "My Reading Groups". The My Reading Groups tab displays the total number of private and anonymous groups of which the user is a member and a list of these groups that includes: name of the group and type, number of members, group activity (number of annotations, highlights, and comments). The student is then able to add to the comments and annotations, read those made by other members of the group and so forth.

Instructors acting as Creator, Moderator, or Administrator of a group have a different view upon login and more options including that of adding additional content for the sole use of the Reading Group. This might include the course outline, study questions and other content which can be in a range of formats as long as it is free from any copyright restrictions.

As access to interactive books is password dependent and cannot be controlled by other forms of authentication, students will need to contact Equinox upon purchase of a digital edition so that we can set them up for access to the interactive edition as well.
