Full description
The article discusses Garbini's claim that Hezekiah's destruction of the Brazen Serpent made by Moses would have been inconceivable in the Jerusalem of the second century BCE. It is suggested here that the destruction is indeed conceivable as part of Jerusalem's composition of the Prophetic collection besides the Torah.
