Full description
The year 1951 also saw the appearance of Kanamatsu’s “Goodness and Naturalness,”. Kanamatsu had published an English-language booklet on a similar subject shortly before, entitled Amitabha: The Life of Naturalness (1949). These two publications were followed in turn by his influential writing entitled quite simply Naturalness (1956) which, published in California by The White Path Society, evidently struck a significant chord in the American reception of Buddhism.
