Stausberg/Theories, 8. Prozesky: Religion and Ultimate Well-Being (1984)

Full description
In Religion and Ultimate Well-Being Martin Prozesky’s agenda is to offer an explanatory theory. He seeks to explain religion and its differentiation into different contextual and historical formations. He articulates three main types of religion, which have developed (but he avoids the term “evolution”): mythological naturalism (cosmic religion), spiritual monism or monistic spirituality (acosmic religion), and transcendentalist monotheisms.
