During the past 20 years, the author has been engaged in questions and investigations that address the relationship between the Continental Ahrensburgian – and the Hensbacka group found in Bohuslän on the west coast of Sweden. On the following pages, highlights from these inquiries will be presented in the form of a condensed review of published material in conjunction with current perspectives concerning coastal colonization in western Sweden.
