Full description

Over the last few decades, we have seen the discipline of glacial archaeology shaped by both technological and cultural change. Glacial archaeology is inherently inter-disciplinary and has experienced refinement of research methods emphasizing the increasing application of technology, including ice coring, remote sensing, satellite imagery, digitation of historic air photos/maps, drone surveys, 3-dimensional visu-alization, and ground (Ice) penetrating radar (GPR).
