Kramer & Byrne/Hired Guns, Introduction

This book is constructed around a series of ten interviews conducted by Wayne and me. All the musicians chosen were either those I have personally known for many years, or they were those whose careers I was curious about, as they have been on my radar since the early 1980s. Of course, I have met many other brilliant musicians along the way, but we decided on limiting the interviews to these ten specific artists so that we could present their stories with the depth and substance that we feel they deserve. We hope that we have succeeded, and that the reader will find their lives as inspiring as we do.
