Full description
Unlike Christian mass, most Hindus do not attend a temple on a single weekday or even at one single time during the week, although this varies by region and community. Many temples, however, have specific times they perform the worship of individual murtis, which are consecrated physical representations (often statues) of the gods and goddesses.
