This series publishes books that extend the field of popular music studies, examine the lives and careers of key musicians (not restricted to jazz artists), interrogate histories of genres, focus on previously neglected forms, or engage in the formative history of popular music styles.
Generally, books are between 80,000 and 100,000 words in length and should aim to attract both general readers and scholars by being definitive and thoroughly researched.
