Aldosari/Ḥanafī Māturīdīsm, 3. The Life and Times of al-Khabbāzī

Chapter Three is devoted to discussing the life of al-Khabbāzī and historical context. The general features of the most important incidents that took place in the seventh century Hijri in which al-Khabbāzī lived are considered first, followed by a discussion of al-Khabbāzī's life during this century. The places where al-Khabbāzī lived, studied and moved to work as a teacher are presented, up to the final stage of his life in Damascus, where he died and was buried.
