Complete Collection

The Complete Collection comprises all Equinox content -- published books, all back-run journal content and all book and journal material to be published in a current year -- on "religion" and practices and beliefs deemed religious. It covers, to a greater or lesser extent, all standard and emerging approaches to the study of most religions documented in contemporary, historical and prehistorical worlds.

The Collections are all dynamic and new material is added upon publication by the originating publication. Some of the Collections are still being indexed to enable searching of the complete database which as of June 2024 amounts to 6711 unique records (book chapters and journal articles) each of which has been assigned to one or more of the 10 main collections and other thematic sub-collections. These records describe the content of the 2024 Complete Collection made up of 271 books (including new titles in 2024) as well as current and previously published articles from all our journals in religion as well as selected articles from archaeology journals and other subjects.

The links to Abstracts (below) are to material currently included in the 10 Main Collections. Note that the New Religious Movements, Contemporary Paganisms & Western Esotericism abstracts are part of one Collection and not sold separately.
