This mini-collection includes selected material concerned with theories of myth and the work of some key theorists on myth, as well as providing material exploring case studies of how myth may reflect ancient and contemporary political and social institutions, what myths may reveal about what societies think/thought about their origins and the origins of the world/universe and how myth relates to historical accounts of events.
