We're publishing four new books in 2025 including the annual Oxford Food Symposium volume the theme of which —“Gardens, Flowers, & Fruits” — celebrates the joys of the natural world while conscious of the significant stresses in our environment.
Beer Terroir applies the concept and methodology of "terroir" to the study of place and taste when it comes to the pre-prohibition brewing history of the Rocky Mountain region.
The author of our 2021 book on fortified wines (Madeira, Port & Sherry) has joined forces with a wind-educator to write Sparking Wines , a comprehensive compendium of meticulously researched facts, classifications and scientific findings on champagnes, other sparkling wines and the sparkling wine industry.
Finally, a delegate and presenter at past Oxford Symposia has written Fermented Dairy of Central Asia, coincidentally another book with a fermentation theme which will be an essential resource for anyone interested in adding simple, nutritious, gut-healthy foods to their culinary repertoire while also learning about theirhistory and provenance.
