Archaeology, Heritage & Museology
Relevant archaeological publications are included in all Collections.
Content in the Encounters & Identities Collection, for example, mostly concerns the choices that archaeologists, museum curators, funding and governmental bodies make when identifying, conserving, displaying, labeling and narrating material culture identified as pertaining religious life and practice, the repatriation of cultural artefacts, contested museological displays and so forth.
Resources in the Ancient Worlds, Biblical Studies Collections and Islamic Studies Collections on the other hand, cover the regional archaeology of the Ancient Near East, relevant archaeological techniques and specific sites as well as publications dealing with the ethics of doing archaeology in contested sites and disputed territories.
